What do I need to begin?
I use digital or hard copy photos as reference. Please provide several photos with the subject in focus, well lit and showing detail.

When can you expect your portrait?
Once photos are received and decisions made about the type of portrait you'd like, work begins in my studio.
I pay particular attention to composition, color and detail so that your portrait best reflects the personality of the subject captured in a moment of time.
I ship via USPS Priority Mail, fully insured and carefully packaged for safe delivery.
Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for completion and delivery.

Payment
I accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle - 50% due to begin and balance due at shipping.

Portraits on Paper
I paint with acrylic on Cold Press, acid free paper, finishing with a double mat.
Unless you prefer white or linen color, I mat with colors that best complement the portrait.
The best way to protect and present your portrait is to frame it under glass.
My matted portraits fit standard sized frames - no need for custom framing.
8"x10" portrait fits 11"x14" frame
9"x12" portrait fits 14"x18" frame
11"x14" portrait fits 16"x20" frame
Additional portrait sizes and formats are available but may require custom framing.

Portraits on Canvas
I paint with acrylic on cotton canvas and finish with a simple wood frame - painted or stained - at your request.
You may also order without so you may custom frame.
